dbt
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The dbt integration connects your dbt platform account to Oneleet, syncing account users as user account assets. This lets Oneleet monitor who has access to your dbt account.
What does Oneleet monitor?
Section titled “What does Oneleet monitor?”- dbt account users (user accounts), including each user’s groups (e.g. Owner, Member) and whether they hold an active license in the account
To set up the dbt integration, navigate to Integrations > Add integration > dbt.
Oneleet connects with a dbt service token through the Administrative API, which is available on the Starter, Enterprise, and Enterprise+ plans. Creating a service token requires an account admin.
- In dbt, open Account settings and note your Access URL (the host in your browser’s address bar, e.g.
ab123.us1.dbt.com) and your Account ID (the number after/accounts/in the address bar). - Go to API tokens → Service tokens and click Create service token.
- Name the token, click Add permission, choose the Read-Only permission set (or Account Viewer on Enterprise plans) for All projects, and click Save.
- Copy the token (it starts with
dbtc_) and paste the access URL, account ID, and token into the form in Oneleet, then click Connect.
dbt doesn’t expose per-user multi-factor authentication status through its API, so Oneleet doesn’t monitor MFA for dbt users.
