Trello

The Trello integration connects your Trello Workspaces to Oneleet, syncing Workspace members as user account assets and each Workspace as an asset. This lets Oneleet monitor who has access to your Trello Workspaces.

  • Trello Workspace members (user accounts), including each member’s role in every Workspace and whether they’re deactivated
  • Your Trello Workspaces, including their visibility (private or public)

Trello doesn’t share members’ email addresses or two-factor authentication status through its API, so Oneleet can’t show them for Trello accounts.

To set up the Trello integration, navigate to Integrations > Add integration > Trello.

Oneleet connects with a Trello API key and API token. Oneleet discovers every Workspace that the account generating the token belongs to, so use an account that is an admin of the Workspaces you want to monitor.

  1. Open the Power-Up admin portal and click New. Fill in the required fields, select your Workspace, choose My app doesn’t use Power-Up capabilities, and click Create.
  2. In the app’s Authorization section, open Trello Auth and click Generate a new Trello Auth API key for this app, then confirm with Generate API key. Copy the API key.
  3. Open https://trello.com/1/authorize?expiration=never&scope=read&response_type=token&name=Oneleet&key=YOUR_API_KEY, replacing YOUR_API_KEY with the API key from the previous step. Check that the page lists only read permissions, then click Allow.
  4. Copy the API token shown on the next page.
  5. Paste both values into the form in Oneleet and click Connect.

The token is read-only: Oneleet can read everything the user who generated it can access, but can’t create or change anything in Trello. Revoking the token in Trello disconnects Oneleet until you update the token in Oneleet.
