Xero
The Xero integration imports the users of your Xero organisations as user account assets, so your Xero users are included when you review who has access to your systems. Oneleet links each user to the matching person in your organization by email address.
Connect Xero
Section titled “Connect Xero”Oneleet connects to Xero with OAuth, so you don’t create or paste an API key. Sign in with a Xero user who has the Adviser or Standard role in the organisations you’re connecting.
- In Oneleet, go to Integrations > Add integration > Xero and click Connect.
- Xero opens and asks you to approve the Oneleet access request. If you belong to more than one Xero organisation, choose the organisations to connect.
- Click Allow access. Xero sends you back to Oneleet, and the new connection appears on the Xero integration page.
Your Xero users appear in Oneleet a few minutes after the first sync.
Oneleet only asks Xero for read access to organisation settings (accounting.settings.read), which includes the user list. It doesn’t read or change invoices, contacts, bank transactions, or any other accounting data.
Imported data
Section titled “Imported data”For each user in each connected organisation, Oneleet imports their name, email address, organisation role, and whether they’re the subscriber (the user who pays for the organisation). Users whose role is Removed are marked deactivated, so they show up as accounts to remove during offboarding and access reviews.
Xero doesn’t share users’ MFA status or last sign-in time through its API, so Oneleet doesn’t import them. Their absence doesn’t mean a user lacks MFA.
Disconnect Xero
Section titled “Disconnect Xero”Remove the connection from the Xero integration page in Oneleet. You can also disconnect the Oneleet app in Xero under Settings > Connected apps, which stops Oneleet’s access from the Xero side.
