Float
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Float integration connects your Float team to Oneleet and syncs its accounts, so Oneleet can track who has access to your resource planning platform.
What does Oneleet monitor?
Section titled “What does Oneleet monitor?”- Float accounts, including their account type (Account Owner, Admin, Manager, Member, or Billing) and whether they’ve been archived
People who are on the schedule but don’t have an account to sign in to Float aren’t synced.
Float’s API doesn’t report whether an account signs in with two-factor authentication, so Oneleet can’t check it.
To set up the Float integration, navigate to Integrations > Add integration > Float and click Continue.
Oneleet requires your team’s Float API key. Only the Float Account Owner and Admins can view it.
Copying the API key
Section titled “Copying the API key”- In Float, click your team name at the top of the sidebar and select Company settings
- Open Integrations and scroll down to Float API
- Copy the API Key using the copy button next to it
For more information, see the Float API authentication documentation.
Connecting to Oneleet
Section titled “Connecting to Oneleet”- Paste the API key
- Click Submit
Oneleet validates the key by querying the Float API, and creates the connection if the key is valid.
Float issues one API key per team. If you click Regenerate in Float, the current key stops working and you’ll need to update the connection with the new one.
