Checkmk

The Checkmk integration connects a Checkmk site (Checkmk Cloud or self-hosted) to Oneleet, syncing its users as user account assets. This lets Oneleet monitor who has access to your monitoring and what they can do there.

  • Checkmk users (user accounts), including human and automation users, their roles, whether their login is disabled, and whether one of their roles enforces two-factor authentication

To set up the Checkmk integration, navigate to Integrations > Add integration > Checkmk.

Oneleet connects to the Checkmk REST API with an automation user that has the Administrator role.

  1. Copy the host and site name from your site’s URL, https://<host>/<site>/check_mk/.
  2. In Checkmk, open Setup → Users → Users. On Checkmk Cloud, use the built-in api_user, with its existing secret if you know it. On a self-hosted site, click Add user and give it the Administrator role.
  3. If you need a new secret, go to Security → Authentication, choose Automation secret for machine accounts, generate a secret, and click Save. This replaces the user’s old secret, so anything that already uses it stops working.
  4. Enter the host, site name, automation user ID, and secret in Oneleet and click Connect.
