Kimai
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Kimai integration connects your Kimai installation (Kimai Cloud or self-hosted) to Oneleet, syncing users as user account assets. This lets Oneleet monitor who has access to your Kimai installation.
What does Oneleet monitor?
Section titled “What does Oneleet monitor?”- Kimai users (user accounts), including each user’s roles and whether they’re deactivated
Kimai’s API doesn’t report whether users have two-factor authentication turned on, so Oneleet doesn’t monitor it.
To set up the Kimai integration, navigate to Integrations > Add integration > Kimai.
Oneleet connects with a Kimai API token and the hostname of your Kimai installation. Sign in as a System-Admin or Administrator so the token can list every user.
- Open the personal menu (your name in the top-right corner) and click API Access.
- Copy the hostname from the URL shown on the page, without
https://or/api(for example,example.kimai.cloud). - Click Create, give the token a name, optionally set an Expiry date, and click Save.
- Copy the displayed token. Kimai shows it only once.
- Paste both values into the form in Oneleet and click Connect.
Oneleet only accepts a hostname, so self-hosted installations served from a sub-path (for example, example.com/kimai) can’t be connected. If the token expires or is deleted in Kimai, Oneleet disconnects until you update the token in Oneleet.
