Hexnode UEM

The Hexnode UEM integration syncs the users and devices in your Hexnode portal into Oneleet. Both show up as assets. Hexnode users are the people devices are enrolled under, not accounts that can sign in to Hexnode, so they don’t show up as vendor accounts. Its monitors check that your devices keep reporting to Hexnode and that Hexnode considers them compliant.

Only workspace admins can connect the integration. It is currently in beta.

Each connection covers one Hexnode portal, and you need the portal’s API key.

  1. In Hexnode, open Admin > API. Generate an API key if the portal doesn’t have one yet, then click the lock icon next to Your API key and copy it.

  2. Note your portal’s hostname, the address you sign in to without https://, such as company.uem.hexnode.com.

  3. In Oneleet, on the Integrations page, click Add integration, then click the Hexnode UEM card.

  4. Enter the hostname in Portal hostname and the key in API key, then click Connect.

Older portals at company.hexnodemdm.com are accepted too. Oneleet rejects any other hostname when you submit the form.

Hexnode has a single API key per portal. Clicking Reset in Hexnode replaces it and Revoke disables API access, and either one breaks the connection until you add the new key.

Oneleet syncs, automatically and many times a day:

  • Users: every user devices are enrolled under, with their name, email, and domain.
  • Devices: every device, with its name, model, OS, serial number, enrollment status, last reported time, owner, and Hexnode’s compliance verdict.

The integration adds two monitors. Both mark devices that aren’t enrolled not applicable.

  • Hexnode devices aren’t dormant fails for a device that hasn’t reported to Hexnode within the dormancy threshold, which is 45 days by default and can be changed in the monitor settings.
  • Hexnode devices are compliant passes when Hexnode marks the device compliant with the compliance policy that applies to it. You define the criteria under Policies > Compliance Policies in Hexnode.

To use a new API key or a different portal, add a replacement with New connection on the integration’s Settings tab and then remove the old one.

To remove a connection, open the three-dot menu on its card and click Disconnect. To remove the integration along with its assets and their monitor results, click Remove integration under Danger zone on the Settings tab.
