NetBox Cloud
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The NetBox Cloud integration connects your NetBox Cloud instance to Oneleet and syncs its users, so Oneleet can track who has access to your network source of truth.
What does Oneleet monitor?
Section titled “What does Oneleet monitor?”- NetBox Cloud users, including their groups and whether their account is active
NetBox’s API doesn’t report whether a user has multi-factor authentication enabled, so Oneleet can’t check it.
To set up the NetBox Cloud integration, navigate to Integrations > Add integration > NetBox Cloud and click Continue.
Oneleet requires your NetBox Cloud instance subdomain and a read-only API token created by an admin.
Creating a read-only API token
Section titled “Creating a read-only API token”- Copy your instance subdomain from the address bar. For
https://abcd1234.cloud.netboxapp.com, the subdomain isabcd1234 - Click your name in the top-right corner and select API Tokens, then click Add a Token
- Keep Version set to v2 and Enabled checked, and uncheck Write enabled so the token is read-only
- Optionally enter a Description, then click Create
- Copy the token shown after
Bearer(it starts withnbt_). NetBox shows it only once
For more information, see the NetBox REST API documentation.
Connecting to Oneleet
Section titled “Connecting to Oneleet”- Enter your instance subdomain
- Paste the API token
- Click Submit
Oneleet validates the token by querying the NetBox users API, and creates the connection if it’s valid.
