Uptrends
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Uptrends integration connects your Uptrends account to Oneleet and syncs its operators, so Oneleet can track who has access to your website and API monitoring platform.
What does Oneleet monitor?
Section titled “What does Oneleet monitor?”- Uptrends operators, including their account-level permissions such as AccountAdministrator
Uptrends’ API doesn’t report whether an operator has two-factor authentication enabled, so Oneleet can’t check it.
To set up the Uptrends integration, navigate to Integrations > Add integration > Uptrends and click Continue.
Oneleet requires an Uptrends API user. API users have the same permissions as the operator they belong to, so create it under an account administrator to let Oneleet list every operator.
Creating an API user
Section titled “Creating an API user”- In Uptrends, open Account setup and go to Operators and groups
- Click View all operators and open your own operator
- Go to the API management tab and click Add API user
- Enter a description and click Create new API user
- Copy the Username and Password. The password is shown only once
For more information, see the Uptrends API authentication documentation.
Connecting to Oneleet
Section titled “Connecting to Oneleet”- Paste the API username and password
- Click Submit
Oneleet validates the credentials by querying the Uptrends API, and creates the connection if they’re valid.
